Progress, Virginia's adult education and literacy newsletter, returns from hiatus this spring with the first of several "mini issues." This edition focuses on how we highlight adult education's success stories, whether individual student achievements or program successes like the English English Empowerment Center's Career and Opportunities Fair. If your program is holding a graduation or other special event this spring, how will you capture and share your local success stories?

But Maria had an advantage many job seekers don't; she carried with her a resumé she had crafted just weeks earlier in her English class, connecting classroom learning directly to real-world opportunity.
